Product Description

General:
The 25kV 200A plug - in cable connector is a fully insulated, fully sealed insert - type terminal that can be touched while energized. It is widely used for the connection of outdoor distribution transformers, American - style box - type substations, ring - main units, cable branching boxes, pad - mounted transformers, and other electrical equipment. It is installed on the outgoing side of T - II type cable heads, 200A busbars, as well as single - pass (or double - pass) bushing connectors and load - transfer connectors of American - style box - type substations, etc. A live - line indicator can be installed at the test point to check the energized status of the equipment and can also meet the requirements of line core - checking.
It uses high - quality EPDM (Ethylene - Propylene - Diene Monomer) insulation, and the conductive rod connection head has arc - extinguishing material, so it can be operated under live - line conditions, but it cannot interrupt short - circuit current; it can be used as a load switch to interrupt 200A current.
It is suitable for cross - linked polyethylene cables with a 25kV cable cross - sectional area of 25mm² - 150mm².
