The 15kV 630A cable front joint is a crucial component used to connect 15kV power cables with electrical equipment, such as switchgear, transformers, and cable branching boxes. It belongs to the European-style separable connection type, and realizes the connection between single-phase or three-phase insulated cables and various equipment through a 630A prefabricated joint.

  • Excellent Insulation Performance: High-quality insulation materials such as silicone rubber or ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber are used, which have good insulation performance, corona resistance, and tracking resistance. They can effectively withstand the electric field stress under 15kV voltage, ensuring long-term stable operation.
  • Full Shielding and Sealing: When matched with suitable bushings or plugs, it provides fully shielded and fully sealed separable connections, preventing the influence of external environmental factors on the internal electrical connections.   • Insulator: The epoxy resin insulator contains threaded metal parts that can be closely matched with the stud bolts.
  • Capacitance Test Point: Used to test whether the line is live.
  • Test Point Cover: The prefabricated conductive test point cover protects the test point and grounds it during normal operation.
  • Inner Semi-conductive Layer: The prefabricated conductive rubber effectively controls the electrical stress.
  • Stress Cone: Stress cones of different sizes are matched with corresponding cable specifications to ensure water tightness and cable stress release.
  • Grounding Eye: Prefabricated into the outer shielding layer for the connection of the grounding wire.
  • Outer Semi-conductive Layer: The prefabricated conductive rubber overlaps with the cable shielding layer to make the shielding continuous and ensure that the outer semi-conductive layer is grounded.
